Shaela Montiel Johnson

Shaela started her life on March 11, 1999 in Trenton, New Jersey. She was a lifelong resident of Trenton. Shaela attended and graduated from the Trenton Public School systems in June 2017. She also completed a basic culinary class at Mercer County Community College, receiving her Culinary Certificate. 

She was a loving and compassionate person who dearly loved her mother and siblings. Those who knew her would describe her as being a loyal person and a protector of her family and friends. Shaela's fun and loving personality was very contagious, and it spread to those all around her! Often, she was the life of the party and could make her family and friends laugh. She was loved by many, but especially by young children and the elders of the community because of the respect and loved she showed them. 

One of the many talents Shaela had was playing basketball. She loved "playing ball". Even though she was short in stature, she knew how to run the court! 

Shaela was predeceased by her maternal Great- Grandparents; Mrs. Margie R. Dickson, Trenton, NJ and Mr. Meredith M. Dickson, Sr., Cleveland, OH.

Shaela leave to cherish her memories her loving and devoted mother, Ave' D. Toleno, Trenton, NJ; her father, Yikeem Chambliss, Trenton, NJ. Sisters, Bryana A. Johnson; Darriel C. Knox and Kiersten D. Knox, all of Trenton, NJ. Brother, Wrenaldo Jourdan Johnson, Trenton, NJ. Her special nephew, Aalon Jourdan Barbot "Poppy", Burlington, NJ. Maternal Namesake Grandmother, Mrs. Sheila M. Dickson-Ongrady and "Pop Pop" John Ongrady, Toms River, NJ. Paternal Great Grandmother, Mrs. Shirley Chambliss; Paternal Grandmother, Debbie Chambliss; Paternal Grandfather Ernest Deonard, all of Trenton, NJ. Shaela also leaves to cherish her memories many aunts, uncles and cousins along with a host of friends. 

Shaela is gone from our side but will forever be in our hearts!
