Rufus M. Law Sr.

Rufus M. Law Sr., age 75, departed this life on January 19, 2020. He was born February 1,1944 in Trenton, NJ to Blanche and Rufus Law. He was educated in the Trenton Public Schools. After high school he was employed at US Steel for 30 years and went on to work at Ingersoll Rand formerly known as Trane for 15 years.

Rufus enjoyed helping family and friends with various home projects. Because of his love for cars, people would ask him to fix their car.  He was known as Mr. Fix-it. He loved relaxing in his Man Cave aka” The Blue room” watching sports and fixing things. Rufus was affectionately called Poogie by his family and childhood friends.

 He was predeceased by his parents Rufus and Blanche Law, four brothers Charles, Russell, Raymond and Jimmy Law, one sister Catherine Law-Robinson, and one grandchild David Law.

He leaves to cherish his loving and dedicated wife Joyce Housley-Law, 3 sisters Ruth ( Woody) Gibson, Mary Brown, Grace Law, 1 brother-in-law Larry Housley (Patricia), 7 sister -in-laws Marge, Brenda, Doris, Barbara Law,  Patricia Brown, Denise and Anita Housley, his children Rufus Law Jr (Angela), Tangie Law, Tina Jones (William), Sherron Taylor, DeWayne and Kelli Housley, Sherry Ford, Simone Wedgest, and Kristen Law. Grandchildren Rhashay Sally, Tiffany, Davon, Tanyall, Jermaine Law, and E.J Jones, Christopher Law,Aaliyah Clark, Joel Pores and 18 Great grandchildren. Special niece and nephew Keon and Briana Housley. Special friend/caretaker Dawn Stewart and a host and of nieces, nephew and friends.
