Jeffery Porter, son of the late William and Margaret Porter was born April 19, 1954, in Trenton, NJ. He departed this life on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 11:39 am at Princeton Care Center Nursing Home in Princeton, NJ.
Buster/Buss as he was so affectionately known by family and friends, had a warm and bright spirit with a loving personality and smile. He was loved, and cherished, and will be missed by all who knew him.
Buster was a graduate of Hamilton High School West, where he played on the school football team, track team and was among the list of “Who’s Who Among American High School Students Class of 1972. He was employed by Hamilton Twp. Board of Education, S.R. Perrine Landscaping, Mershon Concrete, and Mexico Lindo in Hamilton, NJ. He was also a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles Fan and enjoyed helping his mother with her gardening and any other handyman jobs around the house.
Buster was predeceased by; his brothers William Lee Porter, and Glenn (Nick) Porter. He leaves behind to cherish his memories; his daughter, Nicole (Arthur Jr) McCoy, three grandsons, Risan, Avery, and Jaden McCoy all of Fredericksburg VA, three brothers, Ronald (Gail) Porter, Bruce (Donna) Porter, and Harry (Donna) Porter, two sisters, Jacqueline Johnson of NJ, Dorothy (Terry) Williams of PA, one aunt, Rosa Lee White, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He also leaves to mourn, a special son, Jason Banks of NJ, and a special friend Shanice Jones of NJ.
