Carlos Mendoza Montiel passed away unexpectedly at home on
December 8th, 2019 in Hamilton, NJ at the age of 64.
Carlos is survived by his dearly loved wife of 42 years, Norma
Monney; children, Carlos & Melissa; siblings, Norma, Yamileth, Janet,
Mildred, Jorge & Patricia; a host of nieces and nephews and a very
large extended family, including his four-legged friend, Kattie. He was
preceded in death by his father, Carlos Mendoza and his mother,
Maria Elena Montiel.
Carlos was a very sweet man. Protector of his beloved family. A
master in martial arts, earning multiple black belts, while competing at
a world level. He was a total badass. He was a dare devil and was not
afraid at all of heights. He was a futbol enthusiast and played goalie
position. His favorite team was Saprissa. Carlos loved to travel with
his family. Always seeking new adventures, though, his home and the
love he had for his family was the core of Carlos.
He will be greatly missed as he was a friend and blessing to so many.
Always opening his home and heart with love and kindness. Full of
life, cheerful and with a joyful tremendous heart. Doing for others
always, an extraordinary man. Encompassing goodness through
welcoming his own, as well as equally kind with strangers.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, December 14th, from
12:30pm to 2:30pm, at Ledford Funeral Home, 929 South Clinton Ave,
