Andre Anthony King Sr. At the age of 57 peacefully passed in the arms of his loving wife on January 9, 2022 at Capital Health Medical Center-Hopewell NJ. Andre was born on August 26, 1964 in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Linda Jones and Donald Bell. He attended George Washington High where he later obtained a General Education’s diploma. He later found a career in law enforcement in the form of fugitive recovery with his best friend Thomas Nixon.
In September of 2005 he began working at PRWT in Hamilton NJ where he met his wife Creassya Young. He quickly moved up the ranks and became a supervisor. In 2016, they got married and welcomed their 5th child together, Kylie King. In 2017 he started working for HomeFront (Non-Profit Organization). It was there that he felt like he had a purpose. He loved the job and the people he worked with. Andre always had an incredible work ethic and he loved helping people.
Andre is survived by his wife Creassya King and their children Izaiah, Tyler, Anthony, Mason, and Kylie. His eldest son, Jamar, his eldest daughter Keturah, his namesake little Andre and his wife Jillian, his daughter Angelica, his daughter Marquita and son Marquise and wife Shamirah, and in laws Stanley and Lynnette Young. Andre will be missed by his grandchildren: Nyeisha, Christian, Christopher, Nyla, Antonio, Jamar Jr. Jaskya, Haneef, Justyce, Ayden, Tanasha, Talayah, Malaiya
Andre was the eldest sibling to Andrea (Lisa) King, James (Bay) King, Wendell (Rocky) King and Judson (Jay) Washington and will be missed by his nieces and nephews Maurice, Bria, Marquita W. TJ, Salem, Saleia.
Andre also remained a father and fixture to his step children from his first marriage, Ervin, leisha and Cinquitta and he sadly will be missed by them.
Besides spending time with his family, Andre enjoyed sports. He was a die-hard Eagles fan who hated the Cowboys and will hate them in the hereafter. He enjoyed barbecuing on a propane grill and the thought of bringing his family together. And no matter what he was dealing with in his life, when people would ask how he was doing he would say, “I’m blessed.”
