William Junior 'Sye' Simon

Simon, William Junior 'Sye'. son of the late Alberta Simon and William Reed was born on November 7, 1945 in Salem County, Pennsgrove, NJ and departed this life on January 6, 2012 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton.

William was known to everyone as "Sye". He was educated in the Salem County Public School System in Pennsgrove, New Jersey. William was formerly employed at Rider College of Lawrenceville, New Jersey and also did a number of odd jobs including culinary arts, which he loved.

William was a member of the New Beginning Christina Ministry Church of a numve rof years. He playe the keyboard for God Force, and Gospel Inspiration and the Church, New Beginning Christian Ministry.

William was predeceased by his parents; William Reed and Alberta Simon, Grandparents; John & Carrie Simon, sister; Joanne Ames.

William leaves to cherish precious memories, his loving wife, Maxceen Simon ( aka 'Sweetie'), son - William J. Simon (Teresa), daughter - Rindy Simon (Ralph), both of Trenton, two sisters; Gloria Spady of Carneys Point, NJ and Helen Reed of Delaware, brother Byrd Baylor (Nellie) of Camden, NJ, three sisters-in-law; Geri Baylor of Clayton, NJ and Pam Golden of Paulsboro, NJ and Kelly Baylor of West Deptford, NJ, 2 brothers-in-law; Joseph Baylor of Clayton, NJ and Douglas Baylor of West Deptford, NJ and 3 grand-children - Shawn Devon Simon, Andraya Marie Simon and Faith Destiny Johnson, all of Trenton. He is also survived by two special god-daughters, Nerva Barthelemy of East Orange, NJ and Sabrina Carson of Virgina Beach, Virginia and a god-son Reginald Dash of Grand Rapids Michigan. William is also survived by two special friends Clarence Waltson and Jake Thomas, and a host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday 11AM at Corinth Baptist Church 31 Hawthorne Ave, Ewing. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9 - 11AM.
