Vivian Leverett Harris

Vivian Leverett-Harris was born on September 16, 1942 and went peacefully surrounded by family on April 24, 2011 (Easter Sunday) at Providence Nursing Home. Vivian was pre-deceased by her father the late Louis Leverett, her husband Roland Harris, son Donald Leverett and brother Vernon Leverett.

Vivian retired from the Trenton Public Schools System as a Lunch Aide in June, 2005, where she was loved by many. Vivian was known to many as Ms. Viv, Nana, and Mom. She will be missed by her infectious smile, and sassy ways. She was known in East Trenton for her cooking and everyone loved her macaroni and cheese.

Vivian is survived by her mother, Earlene Leverett-Welch, sisters – Hattie Leverett, Brenda Joyce Leverett, brothers – Stanley Leverett, and Robert Leverett (Mary). Also left to cherish her memories are her two daughters – Brenda Leverett (Brian Robinson), Darlene Leverett(Felix Rios), 8 grandchildren – Tierra & Michael Hill, Kadijah and Jose Estrada, Donald Bangs, Kyreese Leverett, Brandon Bangs, Linda Monique Romero, Andre Romero, DeAndre Graffie, 6 great-grands, Kiyajahanay Meyers, Za'vion Estrada, Kha'nilah Davies, Jaelynn Imani Bangs, Eisha Bangs, Donald Bangs Jr., Vivian is also survived by a host of beloved nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday 4/30/2011, 12Noon at Ledford Funeral Home, 929 South Clinton Avenue, Trenton. Interment Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton. Visitation will be held at Ledford Funeral Home on Saturday from 9 am until 12 Noon.
