Tomeka S. Tootle "Meka"

Tomeka S. Tootle “Meka” as she was affectionately know after a such a short time here on God’s earth of making us laugh, bringing us joy and sharing her love, our beloved Meka accepted the Angels invitation to join our Lord in Heaven on Sunday October 23, 2011 at St. Francis Medical Center.  As a result our hearts are a little less bright, but we know the Heavens are filled with more love and joy.

Born on December 6, 1979 in Trenton, NJ to her loving parents, Phyllis A. Tootle and Robert A. (Jenny) Holloway.

Meka was educated in the Trenton public School System.  Meka formerly employed at Mary Little Lamb daycare, Trenton and Mothers Kitchen, Bordentown.  She was baptized at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Meka was a daughter, a loving mother, a sister, aunt and loving dear friend to many, especially cousins Tamara Hicks, Charity James, Destiny Tootle, Shimar Tootle, Brinton Tootle, and Courtney, Jawara, Shalane and Kita.  Meka was preceded in death by her aunt Hope Tootle and great-grandmother Mary J. James.

Meka leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Aquasia, sons- Antwon and Anjean, all of Trenton; parents Phyllis A. Tootle and Robert A (Jenny) Holloway, two sisters Tiesha Tootle and Khiera Kelley; nieces - Chydira Tucker and Ti-jeir Tootle.  Maternal grandparents Kay F. Tootle, Trenton and James W. Tootle, Ohio.  Paternal Grandmother Alice Clyde, California.  Aunts - Fay, Stephanie and Tiffany Tootle; Uncles Curtis, Darnell, Dontae, Kenyon Tootle, Jeffrey, Jerry Clyde and Vern Holloway.  She is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
