Quadir D. 'Quay' Keys

Keys, Quadir Davon Keys 'Quay', 19 of Trenton padded from Earth to Glory on Thursday, September 15, 2011. Quadir was born in Trenton, NJ on July 14, 1992.

A lifelong resident of Trenton, Quadir attended Trenton Public Schools, Morrisville HighSchool, and was a graduate of Village Charter School. After graduation he became a member of the Isles' Youth Build Institute.

Quay enjoyed sports, especially basketball. He loved wearing Jordan's, and Hollister, and Rocawear. Quay was also know for getting a fresh cut, dressed to impressed and driving his favorite car. More importantly Quay loved being a big brother and committed son, and spending time with family and friends.

Quay was pre-deceased by Great-Grandparents James Jones, Claude & Mary Poteat, and Robert & Lillie Keese.

Left to cherish his memories on Earth are his devoted mother Tamyra Keys-Harris, father C Divine Allah and step-father Ahmad Harris; 2 dear sisters; Taquasha and Ahmani Harris, 6 brothers - Quamir Bradley, Tayron Harrington, Ahmad Harris, Nelqwane,
DacQueese, and Davine. Maternal grandparents, Leila Keys, James Keys (Thelma) and Terri Harris, paternal grandparents; Alfonso & Carolyn Walker; uncles, James "Shamar" Keys, Torrence Keys (Rosiland); Aunts, Ruby Keese and Ida Keys. Godmothers, Telyca Smith, Crystal Lacey and Diane Gaston-Howard; God brothers - Rakeem Smith and Calvin Bowser; Special Cousins – Dayjah, Quran, Nyasia and Torrence Jr., 6 Special friends; Dion Gaston 'Lux', Ameera Blake, Brendon Lowe, Antwan Crews, Denzel Wiggins, and Dayshawn Walker. A very special dear friend; Brianna Jones and her daughter Saniyah who he loved as his own. Quay will be missed by a host of other cousins, relatives and dear friends. There are so many people which Quay touched their lives, too many to name but know he loved you.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday 11AM at First Baptist Church Lighthouse Outreach Ministry 715 Bellevue Avenue, Trenton. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9 – 11am. Interment Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton. Services
entrusted to Ledford Funeral Home 929 S. Clinton Avenue, Trenton.
