Leon F. Sampson

Leon F. Sampson was born June 26, 1951 in Trenton, NewJersey to the late Laura Sampson-Hunter and Harold Hunter. He departed this life on July 14th, 2010. Leon was educated in the Trenton Public Schools System As an adult he held many different maintenance jobs. His last was at the Martin House Learning Center. Leon was a man of conviction….no matter what you said, he was always right. But he also loved his family. Leon accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.

He was predeceased by his parents Laura Sampson-Hunter andHarold Hunter, two sisters – Harriet and Yvonne Hunter. He leaves to cherish his memories – three brothers, Harold Jr., Kenneth (Stephanie) of Tampa, Florida and Alvin (Leona) Hunter of Woodbridge, New Jersey - Three Sisters, Yvette of Trenton, Lisa (Erwin) Manning of Lawrenceville, and Tonya Hunter of Trenton. Special Nieces and Nephews Rhonda, Shanique, Asia, Miesha, Marcus, Rayshawn, & John Jr. Two Aunts Sampson of Trenton and Mildred Sampson of Ewing. Leon also leaves a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and a special friend Anthony (Dap) English.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday 1PM at Ledford Funeral Home 929 South Clinton Avenue, Trenton. Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until 1PM.
