Francisco Vega

Francisco Vega, son of Maria A. Cordero and the late Hipolito Vega began his earthly life in on January 22, 1980 and entered into eternal rest and peace on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Capitol Health Systems Mercer Campus in Trenton, NJ.

“Gordo” was a fun-loving and very jovial person who loved people. As a result of these qualities he never met a stranger and was well received by everyone he met.

He was a Truck Driver from Kamco in Trenton. Francisco loved sports especially his favorite Baseball (Phillies) and Football (Cowboys) teams. He also enjoyed Fishing and spending time with his fellow riders from the 609 Cycles.

Francisco is survived by fiancé Melissa Bergner, his children Evan Joshua Vega and Jocelyn Maria Joanne Vega. Also left to cherish his fond memories are his mother, Maria A. Cordero, his brothers and sisters, Noel, Robert, Janet & Hipolito Cordero, his nieces, Michelle Rodriguez, Christine Torres, Jacqueline Torres, and Ana Marie Escobar. Francisco will also be missed by his great nephew and niece Ezayah Cruz and Jayla Torres, a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday 9:30am at St. Anthony’s Church 626 S. Olden Avenue, Hamilton. Visitation will be held on Friday from 7 – 9 PM at Ledford Funeral Home 929 S.
