 Barbara Tate Holtz, 68 of Trenton - passed away Aug. 26, 2010 at home with her loving family at her side. Born in Palatka, Florida where she received her education at the Central Academy School graduating with honors in 1959. Barbara also attended St. Johns River Junior College. Her work history was in Education, Retail & Customer Service.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father Willis Tate and is survived by her mother Lillie Mae Tate, children, LaTanya and Bryan McNeil, two granddaughters Bianca Rosa and Jocelyn McNeil, two grandsons Bryan and David McNeil and two great-grandsons Jah’Syn & Gavin. Barbara also leaves to mourn 2 sisters, Vernell Hill and Jeri Newsome and 1 brother Willie Tate, six nephews Darron Tate, Squire, Todd, Jason & Chad Newsome, Kacy Hill, and 1 niece Sundi Tate, special friends Beulah & James Wilson and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday September 7, 2010 at 12Noon at New Life Christian Center, 812 Prospect Street, Trenton. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 11AM until 12 Noon. Arrangements entrusted to Ledford Funeral Home 929 South Clinton Avenue, Trenton.
