Carl "Mustafah" Daniels departed this life on Saturday, May 12, 2007. He was born on March 13, 1965 in Arlington, Georgia. He is pre-deceased by his loving and adoring mother, (Lillie) Vera Reddick and grandmother, Olivia Hall Daniels.
Carl was raised in Newark, New Jersey where he attended Bragaw Avenue School. Later he and his family moved to Hillside, New Jersey where he attended high school and trade school. "Moo" as he was lovingly called, never married, but he loved children.
Carl's life on earth was challenging but he loved his family and he never gave up trying. He learned several trades during his life which enabled him to be a skilled brick mason and construction.
The thing that he loved most was socializing and just being around people. He loved to laugh and he had a good heart.
The memories of Carl will live on in my minds of his surviving sister, Sharon (Gregory) Thornton of Maryland; brothers, Shawn (Monique) Reddick and Robert (Kas) Reddick both of New Jersey; extended siblings Amanda Smith and Ruthven Auguste; Aunts Ann Chase, Carolee Shedrick, Bernice Smith "his "other mother") and Sandra Auguste; Uncles Ulycee (Yvonne) Scott, Willie Scott and Mose L. Daniels (his "other father"); one great aunt, Emily Hall; three nieces, Chardonnay, Olivia and Lillie, and three nephews: Jacques, Sharad and Nacir, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday – May 18, 2007 at the Christian Pentecostal Church, 971 Clinton Avenue, Irvington. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 AM until 11 AM. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside. |
